1971 Dodge Charger The Charger was completely restyled for 1971 to further segregate it from the Coronet series. Chargers rode on a new 115' wheelbase chassis and were expanded to six coupes and hardtops in three series. All models were semi-fastback coupes featuring rear quarter window styling that swept up from the fender to meet the sloping upper window frame. The full-width bumper/grille shell was split by a large vertical divider on all Chargers and the rear end featured a small trunk lip spoiler and six square taillights located in the oval rear bumper. This example is a numbers matching Super Commando 383 V-8 mated to Mopar 727 automatic transmission, strong, strong runner. Really not any bad news here cosmetically or mechanically. Tough to critique to find anything that would warrant attention. Paint is fantastic, chrome, bright work, it's all A-OK. Check out the interior pictures. appears to be original and presents extremely well. All the right equipment, including cold factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, drivers remote mirror, factory radio and more. Charger rides on a set of Magnum wheels, and a brand new set of white sidewall tires. The car is in turnkey condition, meaning everything is operating as it should, horn, wipers, turn signals, lights, heater, etc. etc..
